We were welcomed with a surprise dinner courtesy of the chef and we have to say we were impressed both by the dishes and the impeccable serving. Stoyan, our waiter, took good care of us and made us smile the whole time so if you decide to pay them a visit, be sure to say Hi to him from us!
We started with a boost of energy after such a tiring day on the slopes, more exactly with two delicious salads. I almost never brag about a salad, because it usually means something easy to prepare and cannot be out of the ordinary, but this time I have to do it. We obviously chose two different salads and shared them:
– Winter salad (my favorite) – Arugula, roasted cauliflower, maple candied walnuts, baked goat cheese and spinach and
– Vegetables salad – Marinated, raw and cooked vegetables with smoked couscous and roasted nuts
The dressing for both salads was amazing, the perfect touch to complete a delicious dish. We didn’t have to add anything: oil, vinegar, salt etc. We just had to enjoy!
PS: The dressing was different for each saladJ
For the second course, even though we were already full after eating those gigantic salads, we wanted some meat for energy, but at the same time a lighter dish so we went for Corn fed chicken with roasted carrots and Tandoori sauce.
You won’t believe how much difference there is between the normal chicken, which we can find in shops nowadays, and the corn fed one. Delicious!
I know many of you are waiting for this part and believe me, chocolate lovers, Amvrosia Restaurant won’t let you down!
They surprised us with Passion fruit soufflé which was the perfect mix between chocolate, warm passion fruit sauce and cold vanilla ice cream. Yummy! I don’t usually eat chocolate, but I couldn’t help myself this time. We were full after our dinner, but my fiancé was extremely happy to finish both desserts.
